Deleting the emails is what I did the next day, it's much peaceful and less awkward for me. The conversation yesterday helped a little to make me feel at ease. I can go in my job without shouldering any awkwardness inside me, at least for now.
My boss was less intimidating too. He was smiling in fact when he walked out of the elevator and sitting on his favorite swivel chair, not forgetting to glance at the scenery outside his precious building.
Selestine invited me to lunch with her, and being introverted and she's the closest friend I know here so far, I agreed. My boss is at the meeting that time, though I feel bad he won’t get any lunch because he needs to attend an urgent meeting.
"You seem less tense now, did something good happen in the gathering? Wasn't it boring?" she asked
