Dungeons. Places like this are scattered all around Lumine. Usually found in caves, these places hold a high risk of death for anyone who dares step foot inside them. But this danger is coupled with great wealth and fortune for those fortunate enough to clear them.
There have been those who tried dealing with it the easy way in the past. Using spells in order to destroy the dungeon altogether in order to reach the rewards faster. But this has never worked out. Dungeons are made from ancient magic. One so old that there is no record of their creation anymore. The only thing that the residents of Lumine knows is that, the dungeon creators spells are absolute. To the point where there have even been some speculations that the gods themselves have created these.
