It's been five years since we found Rowan left behind by his mother. My heart broke for that little boy that day. He was afraid and before he gave me the letter from his mom, he believed she was coming back. I read that letter over and over. I couldn't understand how she could abandon this precious pup until Rowan told me what was happening. When I told him that she wasn't coming back he tried to run away over and over. He wanted to save her. Rowan told me that his father had been killed when their pack had been destroyed. The rogue who called himself the King of Rogues wanted his mother, so he was ready to kill Rowan. She sacrificed herself for her child. I believed her to be selfish and she was selfless to make sure her pup was safe. Rowan refused
