“Would you like to read me that proposal again?” he whispered, his tongue sliding into my ear, licking slow and wet, pulling a strangled shiver out of me.
My hands gripped the edge of the glass table so tight my knuckles burned white. My whole body was trembling, my heels wobbling like they couldn’t even carry my weight anymore.
“I… I just want a promotion…” I stammered, voice breaking.
