Damien took a deep breath and walked out of the room. He looked around to see if Kiara was still there, but she wasn't. He made his way to Xavier's room, feeling guilty for the wounds he had inflicted upon him. He was so grateful that Kiara had stopped him in time, or he would not have been able to forgive himself. Even if he did not necessarily like Xavier a lot, that man had stuck to his side when he needed someone the most.
He knocked on the door, and entered the room, to find Xavier standing by the window. He was looking out, unaware of Damien's presence. Damien felt slightly relieved to see him standing on his own feet, alive and well. He gently closed the door behind himself, taking in a deep breath.
