"Damien?" He heard a soft, familiar voice call out to him, making him open his eyes. He sat up on the hard stone floor, squinting his eyes to see her from the small, barred window.
"Kiara?" He confirmed, yawning, as he slowly stood up.
"I'm here," she replied, and he quickly walked to her, holding onto the bars as he stared into her teary eyes. She held onto his hands, softly crying, as she leaned her head against the bars. "I'm so sorry for this."
"It's okay, hey," he replied, cupping her cheek as the gaps were big enough for him to push his hand out of the cell. "It's not your fault."
"It is, Damien," she looked up at him, tears rolling down her cheeks. "They don't want me to date you, so they're accusing you for this."
