Damien stumbled into his bedroom, falling onto his knees as he slammed the door behind him. His eyes were gleaming a bright red, and his head pounded, making him groan and hold onto his hair. There was a numbness slowly spreading inside his chest, as if his heart had been ripped out. He felt empty.
