Maddox's POV
"Where are we going?" Zelda asks as she turns towards me.
I cannot even look at her in this state. I don't know when was the last time she ate. She is currently sitting in the passenger seat, her feet up and folded under her. She is faced towards me with her back pressed to the car door. I know this is dangerous but I just want her to be comfortable for just a few more minutes.
"Your kingdom," I whisper.
"No. No. Please take me to your pack," she says and I finally look at her.
"Please" she says and I nod.
I am just going to do whatever she wants me to do at this point. I mindlink Kelsie and Ian and tell them to clear all the patrol systems when I drive into the borders with Zelda.
