Maddox's POV
All the way to the pack, Zelda did not wake up. Not even once. Moreover she is snoring. She snores very rarely but now she is. When I was passing through the no man's land where the ground is rough, I expected her to wake up because of the path. But even then she didn't. It's like she is sleeping after a year so she wants to make the best out of it.
I am not complaining though.
It was almost midnight by the time I reached back to the pack. I lift Zelda up in my arms and take her into the pack house. I put her on my bed, throw the comforter on her and walk to Kelsie who just told me that she is at the dungeons.
Everyone is sleeping in the pack and this is even a better time for me to ask Ophelia the way I want. All I need are some goddamn answers.
