Leonardo The early morning light slips quietly through the half-drawn curtains, painting the room in a soft gold that glows against her skin. I’m awake, but I can’t move. I don’t want to. She’s lying here beside me, lost somewhere in a peaceful dream, her golden hair scattered across the pillow like threads of sunlight. A few strands curl against her cheek, and I find myself tracing them with my eyes, memorizing every inch of her. Her lashes are long and thick, brushing over the faint blush of her cheeks.
