"You had a severe allergic reaction. And the test results show it was for ingesting strawberries." the doctor said.
"That's impossible. I am always careful not to eat them. And I didn't even see strawberries today!" Anna exclaimed.
The doctor shrugged. "That's the reason, I'm afraid. Be careful next time."
"I don't understand," Anna said after the doctor left.
"Anna. Who were you with today? What did you eat?" I asked.
"It was just Mandy. We had lunch, and none of us had strawberries. Wait...you don't think she has anything to do with it, do you?" Anna gasped.
"I don't know. If she was the only one there..."
"Emilio was there too!" Anna blurted out.
I squinted my eyes. That black-haired kid in my class? The one who has a crush on Anna. But why would he try to hurt her?
