Chapter Thirty-Three: Warrior Scholarship Try-Outs
Kiara, at the age of twelve
Kiara POV:
I took deep breaths as I waited in the tent for the contestants. It was the day of the trials for the warrior scholarship, and to say I was pooping bricks was an understatement: I was terrified. I wanted nothing more than to do good in this and be one of the thirteen students. The competition was tough; out of the thirteen seats, only two were given to she-wolves, and the rest were males. Rex, JJ and four more boys had already been awarded the scholarship; therefore, the rest of the spots were determined on your results of the trials. I was a fact and numbers person, but I wasn't sure about fighting.
Beta Tim and Gamma Chris had said I was amazing. Over the years here, they had been training
