I woke up alone the following day. It was not a surprise as River told me the night before that he and Ryder would train with their Uncle Billy, the king’s beta. The other members of the pack were exempted, except for the two of them.
Not knowing what to do until River comes back, I went inside the bathroom and washed up. When I got out, I noticed my suitcase and bag were beside the bed.
