Kimberly POV
“Kimberly, I’m sorry. Felix got your mom. If we try to get her, we might not come back at all. We will lose more lives.” Blaise croaked in his words. I was sure he was controlling his emotions.
We were all in our meeting tent, excluding my dad and the royal doctor. I summoned all of them right away, not even giving them time to recuperate from whatever misfortune that happened to them. I wanted to know why my mom was not with them!
I could not think at the moment. I tried to be rational as much as possible, but my heart was bleeding and crying out for my mom. If only I could just hide in a corner and cry, I would. But many people were relying on me. I could not show any weakness.
All the while, I looked at Blaise but did not really see his face. I was looking at nothingnes
