It was time. Tomorrow’s the twins’ birthday.
I stood in the front hall with my suitcase in one hand and another bag on my shoulders.
This was it. The first time I would be out of the academy and out of its borders.
“You ready? This is all you’re going to bring?” Blaise asked as he took my suitcase from my hand.
“Yes. Why? The hotel is booked for two nights. I only need a few sets of clothes.” My evening dress for the birthday party was not even bulky, thus the one suitcase to bring.
“What if you meet your mate there? You don’t have enough clothes with you.”
“Blaise, if I meet my mate there, I won’t be needing any clothes to wear for a few days.” I couldn’t believe the words that went out of my mouth that even Blaise was surprised.
