"It hurts," I said in a tiny voice. It was all I could say.
"Go inside my room." He had me go in first and let me sit on his bed. "I'll be back. Okay? Whatever happens, don't go out of this room until I come back." He did not wait for me to say anything.
I waited impatiently. I could hear nothing and at that moment, I wished I was a werewolf. Ten minutes had gone by and there was still no word from Ryder. I waited for another five minutes and when Ryder still had not come back, I stood up and went out to the hallway. However, no one was there.
