That Sunday, I took the time to rest in the afternoon. I went out when it was time for dinner. I could not miss it anyway, as the twins always get me to go with them.
At the dining hall, when I was about to get my food, I could not help myself to go to my stepsister’s table.
“You go ahead, Kira. I have something to do.” I nodded my head towards Alice’s way.
“Want some back-up?”
“No need. I will just tell her something.”
