“Kimmie, can you hear me?”
I could hear River. I was looking right at him, but he was not speaking, not opening his mouth. His face was blank.
“Wow, I could talk to you through my mind? Is this what you do when you mind-link someone? Cool!” I was too ecstatic, but then I remembered everybody was watching us. “Let’s test this out later. We have to finish this ceremony.”
After a few words from the king, I was to be announced as an official member of the Royal Pack and also the future Luna and queen of the werewolf kingdom. However, I remembered something I needed to do and so I whispered to the king that I needed a moment to speak, much to the curiosity of the twins.
Papa Roland nodded at me, so right then I faced the twins again.
