Chapter 10 What Can You Do to Me if I Don't Tell You?
Gabe fought to keep the beast inside him tame as he dispelled every bit of disquiet now tormenting him.
"I'd just go bluntly to avoid all the hassle!"
"You look so gorgeous today, Lisa," said Gabe, who had in fact intended to compliment his wife for she really looked very beautiful.
"Oh really? So you're saying that I'm not usually pretty?"
Lisa cooed with the coquettishness of a teenage girl trying to flirt with her sweetheart and that only confused Gabe even more.
Was this really Lisa? The same Lisa who barked and yelled at him as if he was a slave? He had always felt that he lived no better than a dog and that could very well be true.
"But she seems different! So utterly different like a complete stranger!?"
