Ryder’s P.O.V.
For the first time, in this whole time in the last 6 months, I slept well. Keira requested me to sleep with her as she did not want to be alone tonight. I was nervous at first. It was really hard for me to keep myself away from her. I wanted to take things slow and according to her comfort.
I slept beside her and she put her head on my chest while putting her hand around my waist. She put her head just upon my heart like she wanted to hear my heartbeat. “Your heart is beating too fast. What’s wrong?”, she asked me. She closed her eyes. “It’s your fault, not mine”, I complain and felt that she smiled. I wrapped my hand around her shoulder and pulled her closed to me. It was really relaxing.
