It took me a long time to heal from the silver bomb that had gone off and the three silver bullets I had been shot with. It was slow going because Enli was suppressed because of the silver. I was healing like a human would and I was so damn sore.
I’ve never seen a she-wolf fuss over their mate as much as Mecha fussed over me after I had been hurt. If I moved to do anything for myself she would get up and try to do it for me. Though she was moving slower than me because her belly had gotten so big. We were a pair of slow-moving people in the conditions we found ourselves in.
Once I was out of the hospital, she wouldn’t let me go back to work for a week. I had to sit with her at the house every day as I got better. Thank Goddess for Grant and Aksel coming to see me and Maddy coming
