Mads and I had decided to take a little time off and go on a trip that we were calling our honeymoon even though we weren’t married in the human world. I had asked her if that was something she wanted to do and she told me no. We were perfect the way we were. Eric and Venita shared our thoughts and I think mom and Curt did too. Some couples got married and some didn’t.
When we started talking about this trip, we wanted to go somewhere that no one else we knew had been. So we picked Bermuda. I researched the place and everything it had, then had to apply for travel authorization for us to go there. We got approval and booked our stay for the weekend after the twins' seventeenth birthday.
We had our bags packed and got on the private jet. Our flight was only three hours
