I closed my eyes as Zayn and I drove up to the pack house. I was lost in a memory of a conversation that Shaman and I once had about Aiden. Memories remind me that nothing is eternal. Nothing lasts forever.
I had to focus on something else before I broke down crying, so I focused on the pups that I had just seen. Why were they there? How did they appear when I needed them? I had numerous questions that needed answering but there were two things I was absolutely sure of.
