(Landon) After we headed back inside, I ordered breakfast. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, the basics. I made sure there was nothing weird, no pickle juice or whatever else Micah might've concocted if left alone. He was still smiling as we sat down in the buffet area, and I felt an odd sense of peace wash over me as I watched him eat, his goofy grin never far from his lips. “Looks like you're back to normal,” I teased, watching as he attacked his plate with enthusiasm. Micah shrugged, chewing through a mouthful of pancakes. “I guess I am.” He replied. I smirked, trying not to think about that awful pickle ice cream combo from earlier. We finished breakfast, and I could feel the atmosphere between us shift, the playful banter replaced by something quieter, something more intimate. Micah
