Spending time with friends

(Micah) “Let's do something fun,” I said to Malachi, who nodded his head with excitement. He told me that Cale and Connor had been overbearing with how protective they were of him, I don't see it as that, though. Malachi had been through a lot with his old pack, he ran away and mistakenly entered our land instead. I'm glad that they gave him a chance to live with us and didn't turn him away. “These are the times that I'm glad that I'm immortal, Cale and Connor almost killed me last night with their massive di...” I shot him a look, not wanting to hear that. He chuckled and shook his head. I've never really flirted with Malachi before, only with Cory. So, I can see why Landon wanted me to hang out with him. It's not like Malachi isn't cute and all, yes he is. I just felt like I would be flirting with my brother. Yuck. “When will Marcus and Manny return from their trip? They have been going off a lot these days. Jacob is spoiling them too much, now they are in Jamaica having the time of their lives.” I grinned at the mention of my cousins. They had gotten the trip that they had always wanted and haven't been back since. Yes, they checked in even yesterday, but I can't help but miss them. “I guess they'll be back soon, I can't wait to have my pup so that I can eat some more of those weed brownies,” I replied, making Malachi laugh. I remembered the time when Arlo and I got in trouble for trying those brownies, those two loves to smoke a lot and would put weed in just about anything. “Let's go check on Arlo, I want to do something fun.” Malachi grabbed my hand, and we made our way towards Arlo's room after sending him a mind link, asking him where he was. When we got there, Arlo's parents were there with the triplets helping out while Arlo was lying in bed. He gave us a pleading look as if begging us to get him out of here. “Ugh, hi Mr. and Mrs. Quinn, can we borrow Arlo for a minute?” Malachi asked. They looked as if they were debating whether or not they should allow him to leave. It took a couple of minutes before they made up their minds. Such overbearing assholes. “Ok, but have him back soon. He's tired and needs his rest.” Mr. Quinn said. I nodded my head and smiled, then pulled Arlo off the bed and hurriedly left before they could change their minds. “What the hell was that about?” I asked Arlo, who seemed to be on the verge of crying. I couldn't allow that to happen, so I pulled him towards me for a hug. After he calmed down, he started telling me what had happened. “Heck, I'm not even tired. Mom and Dad thought that I was, since I was the only one taking care of the triplets. They came to my room and demanded that I get in bed and rest, after stuffing me with the delicious food that they made. I can't take this anymore, no seriously, I can't. It's getting out of control Micah! I need Jacob!” Arlo was getting angry, and I was also angry because of the way they were babying him. He's eighteen now for crying out loud! Yes, we did act a bit childish before, but that doesn't mean that they had to treat him like one! I'm glad that my parents aren't like this. “f**k, Arlo you're glowing,” Malachi said. I looked at Arlo, and it was exactly what was going on. I was about to tell him to calm down when he disappeared. I started to look around for him, but couldn't find him anywhere. Seems as if he lost control of his powers. I just hope that he's ok.
