Perseus's children were taken to a room within the building and are being watched by the security personnel on duty for twenty-four hours. Perseus and Diana watch them take their children away and, though they never trusted the safety of the government to an extent, they allowed them to look after Vine and her brothers because they had signed an agreement, and they are obligated to stand up for their country, knowing that if the country is safe, their family will be safe as well. There was no safehouse elsewhere, 10 Downing Street was regarded as the most secured place in the country and that alone was enough reason for Perseus and his wife Diana to not fret about anything happening to their children.
