Thales the wizard of the dens confessed the dragon some few minutes later after he sat down on the ground; however, deep beneath the tunnels of Crete lie a den with a mighty dragon in it. The earth quaked and the foundations of the den tremble at the move of the dragon which dwelt beneath the earth. All the people of the nativity Crete left whatever it is they were doing and gathered afar off at the entrance of the den wondering what it was that made the foundations of the Cretean land to vibrate in that manner, as they stood there and steadfastly watching at the rising power that ruled the den.
