Emma's sleep went for a walk after that unexpected call. She had poured her heart out, thinking it was Tristan on the other side. Well, even if she heard the voice of Tristan's evil captor, her vitals kept saying her otherwise.  She looked outside her window to the pale moon in the night sky. Tomorrow will be a full moon. Many coming-of-age wolves would shift for the first time.  A full moon always marked new beginnings and was significant to the wolves. The packhouses would be exceptionally crowded, celebrating the new shifters.  But Emma broke into tears when she saw the moon. She looked at it with fazed, teary eyes and pleaded for it to bring a new beginning to her life. She had not seen or heard from Tristan for so long that she was beginning to get scared that she might have forgot
