Shaw and I managed to pull Alpha Monroe back, his hand letting go of Betty. She fell forward as she coughed, trying to pull in a breath. Looking over at his men, "Get her in the vehicle!" I growled at them, making them jump, gripping her arms, and hauling her up to her feet, pulling open the back door, shoving her in, then slamming the door closed.
"NO, what is she talking about?" Alpha Monroe struggled against him as he tried to get to the vehicle. I need to defuse this, or it will come back around and bite me in the ass as well.
"Nothing, you should know she is not right, she is going to say s**t to get at you, that's what she wanted, you almost gave her what she was aiming for, calm down and think about it."
