The words took a minute to register in everyone’s brain. Pip was the first to react, her eyes going wide and a smile stretching across her face. Gentry just said, “Oh.”
Cullen’s brain slowly absorbed my words. For probably the first time ever, his expression read fear. He looked at me like he was genuinely terrified. On the other hand, Calder smiled.
Ryker was the first to move, though. “Luna,” he said, coming toward me. Cullen and Calder’s growls stopped him. “We should get in the car.”
“What if she has the baby in the car?” Cullen spit out.
“We need to call Dr. Charles,” Calder said, coming to my side.
Callie was bursting with excitement in my head. I hadn’t felt a contraction yet, and all I could think about was putting on some clean pants. “Um, can I change first?” I asked.
