I didn’t realize just how sore I was until I finally got out of the bed. Gentry had some delicious chicken tacos sent over from the packhouse that I ate happily and greedily. After that, our new nurse said it was important that I used the restroom. Cullen held onto Cerys while Calder laid Callum in the little baby bed they had for them so he could help me.
Since I was already up and moving, I decided I wanted to shower as well. Calder insisted on helping me, but I had to be more insistent that I would be able to manage myself. After everything I had just gone through, I did not want my mates in the shower.
