The Bad Boys Mute

Elizabeth's POV

Hello, my name is Elizabeth. I am entering my senior year at SPHS. I have no friends and nobody likes me because they think that I am a snobby bitch who thinks she is too good to talk to anyone. But the truth is i'm a Mute. I haven't talked or said a thing to anyone in 13 years.

I'm lonely though. I just have to get through this year though. Then I can leave. I live with my abusive, drunk of a father. My mother died after complications with my birth. You see, I was born 2 months early. My father blames me for her death, when really I wish I had died instead of her. Then everyone would be happier without me here. I have grown used to the pain of my fathers abuse, so it no longer hurts, just stings at first.

But lets not get into that. I woke up at 5 to make my father his breakfast. When I don't he hits me more. I made him breakfast then went and took a quick shower and did my morning routine. After I chose to go with blue skinny jeans, a t-shirt, my giant sweater, and my converse. I decided to just throw my hair in a tight pony tail.

I leave before my father wakes and leave a not on his door that his breakfast is at the table. Then I'm off to school. I don't live too far so I can walk. When I get to school I have just enough time to get my books out of my locker and head to my first class of the day. History. I hate history with a passion. I have a high grade, but I absolutely despise it, even more that math. I sit down in the middle of the row next to the window.

The 'bad boys' walk in late as usual. When they take their seats, I can feel someone staring at me. I peak behind me, only to meet Ace's deep brown eyes. We hold eye contact for a while before I am snapped out of my trance and my attention goes back to the teacher. I can feel him staring at me the whole class.

As soon as the dismissal bell for first period rings, I am out of seat and am making my way to English. My next class. I can't seem to get his eyes out of my mind.
