Since I could no longer postpone my luncheon with Dave, I called my mom ahead of time that I had another appointment for lunch. She didn’t question me why and just agreed on it. However, Keith’s sudden visitation almost ruined my plan. I appreciated Dave’s thoughtfulness when he suggested that he would just go ahead to Kenny’s to order our food.
