Actually, there was a pandemic but some businesses remained open because of stranded tourists. Health protocols were observed so I was not worried about catching the virus and getting sick. As I walked down the paved road going to the church, I was thinking about the first place that I rented when I arrived in the province. The owner had financial difficulties so he sold the property. Fortunately, he recommended me to stay in his friend's property. It was a little resort with beachfront and oceanview so I loved the new place. It was a little pricey but I had to take it.
