We came to a stop and I was untied and pulled off the large wolf, my arms immediately snapped behind me and tied again.
The leader grabbed my arm and some of the others shifted back as we continued on foot following the base of a large mountain. The small pass was getting increasingly difficult to navigate, and we couldn’t walk more than two people side-by-side.
“How much longer?” I tried to sound bored, but really I needed to know.
“Desperate to be reunited with your true Alpha? He said you were a w.hore.” The men laughed and I rolled my eyes.
“I bet he said I was crazy too.” I smiled at the man dragging me, “Typical scorned men. What a complex.” He paused, his dull eyes flashed for a second.
