Lucas’ mouth hung open and Cameron looked to the ground crossing his arms. He already knew.
“Uh, I think I forgot my pen or something.” Lucas slinked back into the cave and Cameron followed silently behind him.
“Cam,” Jackson growled, startling me. Cameron turned on his heel and faced Jackson.
“Yes, Alpha?”
“You knew.” It wasn’t a question.
“Yes, Alpha.” He stood there before Lucas pulled him in.
“It was an order, I hated to do it, but, I mean it worked out, right?” I couldn’t meet his eyes. I knew how incredibly mad he was, I felt it through our bond.
