“Werewolves actually have the lowest rates of child abandonment in the world,” I cut him off. “It’s the rogues that are the biggest culprits. And rogues are not bound to one kingdom. As you might well know—or perhaps not, given your apparent disposition toward ignoring the facts—the Lycan kingdom has the fastest growing rogue population in the world.”
The group fell silent. All except for the King, who chortled so loudly it even made a few passersby jump with surprise.
