I shrugged, watching as the lanterns began to flicker to life along the village streets as dusk settled around us. “It just felt like the right thing to do. She was so happy to see my mother. Why take that away from her?”   Isaac studied my face for a long moment, and then that damn smirk tugged at the pout of his mouth again. “My, my. Bianca Ravenwood, you’re blushing.”   I rolled my eyes even though I knew he was right.
