CHAPTER TWENTY THREE “Morning,” Jade’s super cheery voice made me want to kick her butt instantly. Why would she scream this early in the morning? My f*****g headache was killing enough already and I could not bring myself to actually take a sip of the steaming hot coffee in the ceramic coffee cup. I had made it a minute ago but all I did was just stare at it on the kitchen counter. “Morning,” I groaned out in response. “Why are you not dressed up yet? Its Eight thirty and we have a lab class at nine. You know the rules; no one can ever miss any lab class unless they are sick,” Her voice sounded like she was screaming right inside my head and it hurt. “Stop. Screaming. Jade,” I spoke in monosyllables. “Oh, the killer hangover. Here, take some painkillers and that cup of co
