The rest of the week seemed to fly by. Xian and Lance continued to sit together during every class they shared, and twice more after that Monday, they had lunch together again.
That same Monday night, Xian went to visit the Lee siblings in their apartment. He wasn’t much of a cook, so he just treated them to takeouts for the time being, and they hung out with each other until late.
After hearing Xian shyly and briefly describe how his performance went, Ira unexpectedly sighed and said, “Wish I could have been there to see you.”
Connor piped in, “I know! Me too…”
“Er… guess I could ask for the audition vid?” Xian said. Nepotism, banzai.
Ira seemed to consider that, but then she shook her head and smiled. “I think I’d rather just wait for the film to come out.”
