Jax took us to the doctor they went to when someone in the gang got hurt. He said they couldn’t just go to the hospital for help because they would call the police. It made sense, but it made me even more worried about Colton.
“Is he getting the proper treatment he needs?” I asked Jax worriedly, pulling the hood of his jacket over my head to hide the disastrous hair I still had to see. But Brody’s reaction spoke loud and clear that I knew I looked ridiculous.
“Don’t worry, Angel. Colton will be fine. They have everything they need to treat him, but you’ll see soon enough,” he said, and I nodded as he parked the car in front of a building. He got out and came around the car to help me too.
