“Lunch is ready.” My father announced while he was glaring at Jax, but Jax didn’t even notice it. He was too busy looking at me while his eyes were shining with happiness. I let out a chuckle as I took a step back after he put me back on my feet.
“Come in, let’s have lunch,” I told him, and he nodded his head while he couldn’t wipe the smile off of his face. My father walked inside, leaving the door open for us.
“Gladly, but I didn’t think meeting the parents would come so soon. I didn’t think this through,” he said, turning nervous all of a sudden and I let out another chuckle.
“What did you think when you knocked on the door that I was living alone?” I asked him in amusement and he shrugged his shoulders. “It will be okay. My parents don’t like any of my friends, so don’t worry if the
