Alexander Montgomery was sitting behind his desk in his study in his mansion while he was talking on the phone with his private investigator, Andrew Simons.
“What did you find out about the girl?” he asked as he leaned back in his chair and lit up a cigar.
Everything around him screamed money. His office in his mansion was huge, and it cost a fortune for him to set it up with all that unnecessary, expensive furniture and decoration he wanted to have. He liked to show off his fortune and compete with other rich families. He wanted to have the best and the most expensive of everything.
