  His lips were so . . . soft and strong . . . and just . . .   "Get it together, Clara," I snap at myself, sitting straight at my desk. "It was just a kiss. You're acting like you're still in high school."   That's not exactly true. In high school, I didn't kiss anyone until my sophomore year, and it was Antonio. We didn't officially start dating until the following year, but he was still my first for everything, especially since we got together so young.   A loud knock makes me jump, and I look up to find Mister Gillespie, the principal, standing in my doorway. "You're here late, Clara. Everything okay?"   I glance at my watch and grumble to myself. "I didn't even realize it was so late. I've been working on the behavioral assessments for a few of the foster students."   He nods.
