  Shamrock calls emergency Church as soon as Ironhide hangs up the phone. After he kisses the side of my head, he goes off to the meeting room, and I'm rooted in place for a moment. Soft hands slide up my back, and I turn to find Carrigan staring at me with tearful eyes.   "Faylinn, I—"   Grabbing her shoulders, I pull her into a hug just as she starts to cry. "Shh, Carrigan.
