The next day we are heading to the mall to buy some clothes and necessities for me. My period is around the corner so I shouldn’t forget to buy some pads.
“Just choose whatever you want, it’s on me.” Cody says and I look at him with wide eyes. I didn’t think he has that much of money. He is living in a simple apartment after all, but now I realise that I don’t even know anything about him or his family.
“It’s okay. I just need a few set of clothes and a few other things.” I tell him with a smile.
“Alright, but don’t hold back. I have enough money to buy the whole mall for you if you wish.” He says and I stop in my track to turn to him as we were walking through the entrance of the mall.
“I didn’t know you are that loaded.” I tell him with a surprised expression.
