I carried Jamie to the car and drove back home. She was still unconscious and I know it sounds crazy, but I was kind of glad about that. I didn’t know how I would explain to her what she saw back there. I mean… I knew how to explain it, but I didn’t know how she would react to all that. Would she take it easily with an open mind or would she freak out? I was scared to find out.
I looked at her as she was sleeping peacefully on the back seat of the car and I let out a sigh. At least she was alive, that was the most important thing. Hopefully, she will understand everything with time and she won’t hate us or won’t be afraid of us for too long.
