My chest hurt a little and I had a bad feeling when I was sitting in the car with Chloe and Byron. We were heading to my pack, the Dark Forest pack. It was a thirty-minute drive and as we got closer and closer, the pain in my chest intensified. I didn’t know what was happening to me and I didn’t want to tell Chloe or Byron about the strange pain I was feeling either, because they would just worry about me and inform my family. My parents would be all worried too and I didn’t want that just because of some pain that was still bearable.
“Thanks for the ride.” I thanked them when Byron stopped the car in front of the gate and kissed Beck on his cheek while he was sleeping in his baby seat on the back seat next to me, before I climbed out of the car.
