CHAPTER THIRTY-EIGHT Genuine.   That was the first word that rung in my brain as I stared at the man that was my husband. All that he had just said kept replaying in my head and I tried to make sense of all of it but I seemed somewhat frozen. He was asking me to make choices for myself.
