Ace drove Crescent home from Landon's birthday party in his own car. The car came to a halt in front of the Hart Villa, and Ace helped Crescent in unbuckling his seat belts and unlocking the car door. Crescent exited the vehicle and murmured, "Thanks for dropping me home."
"No problem." Ace muttered and the two of them shared an awkward moment. Crescent stood there, still not entering his house, and Ace remained in his car, not driving. They both didn't want the other to leave.
"Then I'll get moving." Ace hesitated as Crescent nervously laughed.
"Yeah." Ace muttered
Neither of them, however, moved from their respective positions. Each of them awaited the other's departure first. They just awkwardly glanced at each other.
